iLife A10 robot vacuum review: iLife's first mapping bot can't get out of its own way

PCWorld

I've had great experiences with previous iLife robot vacuums, so I expected the introduction of laser navigation with the new A10 would make this one even better. But while the new vacuum does add some great new mapping and cleaning customization features, its finicky performance makes it feel more like a work in progress than a polished product. It comes with a bristled roller brush preinstalled and a secondary rubber brush that's better for grabbing pet hair and larger debris, plus two pairs of spin brushes, a charging dock and mat, a power adapter, remote control, cleaning tool, and an extra high-performance filter. The vacuum sticks close to the aesthetic set by other brands with a brushed black finish and a tempered glass top. A start/pause Auto clean button is set into the top in front of the laser turret, and there's a power switch on the side.

Proscenic M7 Pro robot vacuum review: Watch your back, iRobot

PCWorld

The M7 Pro is the first Proscenic robot vacuum we've reviewed, and if it's indicative of the rest of the company's vacuums, it bodes well indeed. The M7 Pro performs both vacuuming and mopping duties, employs laser navigation and mapping, and offers plenty of cleaning customization for a solidly mid-tier price. The M7 Pro doesn't break any molds with its design, sticking to a standard circular shape in a black finish. It measures just over 13 inches across and its above-average 3.8-inch height reflects the laser turret--which allows it to map your floor plan--sitting on top. Underneath are two spinning edge brushes and a main rolling brush.

Ecovacs Deebot 711 robot vacuum review: Housekeeping help you can trust

PCWorld

If staying on top of housekeeping was your New Year's resolution, the Deebot 711 could help ensure you don't throw in the dustbin by the middle of February. Ecovacs latest robot vacuum is a diligent cleaner with a several advanced features, including a stellar navigation system that plots the most efficient course across your floors. The 711 sticks close to the specs of other Deebots, with a sleek circular shape that's 13.9 inches across and 3.3 inches high. An Auto-mode button and the vacuum's vSLAM camera are embedded in the top. Underneath, it's equipped with a single roller brush and two spinning side brushes.

Ecovacs Deebot N79S robot vacuum review: Some advanced features at an affordable price

PCWorld

Robot vacuums typically fall into one of two categories: pricey premium models that come with cool features like app control, mapping navigation, and smart-home support, and budget-minded models that that, well, don't. The reasonably priced Deebot N79S bridges that chasm a bit by offering a simple but elegant app experience and Alexa-enabled voice control. The N79S sticks pretty close to the blueprint of other Deebot robot vacuums we've tested: a simple circular design--13.9 inches in diameter in this case--in a modest black color. The Auto button and Wi-Fi indicator sit on the brushed-metal top and there's a power switch on the side. Underneath are a single roller brush, two spin brushes, a pair of treads and a nose wheel.
